• We help all our students explore their talents and offer comprehensive and professional instruction and coaching in musical, sporting, theatrical, artistic and outdoor endeavors.
• We teach in small classes and with individual support and our students always find someone to help. Our goal is to build a vibrant, enterprising and globally minded school community.
Please do take the time to explore the website and learn more about our school and feel free to contact us or arrange a visit.
Our school is located in the beautiful country side in the heart of the Münsterland, in Diestedde near the small city of Wadersloh. The proximity to the cities of Münster, Dortmund and Düsseldorf offers the opportunity for our students to experience top-class music events, theater, art galleries, museums and international sport events and life concerts. The students enjoy a safe and healthy lifestyle with fresh, clean air away from the pollution of major cities.
Our location allows us to offer exceptional opportunities for outdoor adventure, including mountain biking, rock-climbing and hiking as well as sports such as rowing, sailing and horseback riding. In the winter months students can ski and snowboard in the nearby Winterberg area.
Transportation links via the international airports in Düsseldorf, Hannover, Dortmund and Frankfurt mean that access is straightforward from global destinations and in addition these cities are served by an excellent European rail network.
A school bus service will run from the airports Dortmund and Düsseldorf.
High quality of life in one of the richest cultural landscapes in Europe
North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) is not only a strong business location, but also boasts a high quality of life and one of the richest cultural landscapes in Europe. This is why NRW is one of the most popular destinations in Germany, with more than 21 million visitors every year. The cultural facilities are first-rate: More than 900 museums and 130 stages make the state one of the most diverse cultural regions in Europe along with Paris and London. Five buildings in NRW alone have been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. In addition, 14,000 kilometers of cycle paths and more than 50,000 kilometers of hiking trails and the largest ski area north of the Alps provide ample opportunity for outdoor activities.
All this and much more makes for an excellent quality of life in NRW.
We welcome students from all over the world
Our students reflect the intended international mix of our school, coming together to learn in peaceful co-existence from around the world. We embrace diversity and this includes a blend of different cultural, religious and social backgrounds. We welcome both boarding and under certain conditions day students. All students enjoy pastoral care and academic mentorship.
Younger students learn from and aspire to be like the older students that they study with and, in return, older students gain genuine responsibility for all the students in their dormitory, especially the younger ones. House values are based on traditional family values, where everyone shares a common goal and everyone looks after each other. At Crassenstein we believe in the importance of high school standards such as school uniforms as a means of encouraging students to feel a sense of pride and purpose. Wearing the Crassenstein school uniform contributes to the ethos of the school and creates a learning environment and social climate independent of their social background or fashion trends.
We are looking for social workers/educators or educators who can strengthen our team. We offer jobs, starting August this year, ranging from mini-jobs to full-time positions. Please send your applications directly to the Headmaster: firstname.lastname@example.org or to our Administration Manager: email@example.com
Our professional team is preparing the school for starting classes in spring 2018. The selection of teachers is in process and we pay great attention on quality, experience and ability. The overall process is supervised and guided by our Principal Dr. Wolfgang Hinners with the support of his dedicated and highly professional team.
Motivation is of particular importance. Our teaching staffs are highly motivated, experienced educational experts with international backgrounds and excellent track records.
They encourage innovation and listen to students and parents. Our teachers are familiar with modern classroom methods and continually improve their didactic and pedagogical skills. The classrooms and laboratories are of course fully equipped according to latest standards.
